The First United Presbyterian Church is a place where the saving love of Jesus Christ is embraced in hospitality and ignited in service to the community.

What we believe:

• We believe that God the Father Almighty made the heaven and earth.
  
• We believe in Jesus Christ His only Son, who is our Lord.
  
• We believe Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born to a virgin, Mary.
  
• We believe he suffered, was crucified, died and was buried.
  
• We believe He rose from the grave and returned to His Father in heaven.
  
• We believe He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
  
• We believe in the Holy Ghost, the universal church, the gathering of believers.
  
• We believe in the forgiveness of our sins.
  
• We believe we will be resurrected after death and that we will live forever with Him.
